URANUS

KEY WORDS: Independence, Originality, The awakening, Roaring

   A rune of fertility, that stands directly on the symbol of Sun. The creative power of Sun is manifested here in combination with the advancing fertile power. “Awakening of the inner man!”

   The results is: Symbol of TRANSFORMATION, REBELLION and REBIRTH.

   SATURN, the second AQUARIUS planet is thus overcome and with it the dependence on SPACE AND TIME, where the “ONE MAN FORCE” or “SUPERNATURALITY” is born.

   The planet URANUS symbolizes the power of “TRUE AWAKENING”, which however, undergoes some kind of interruption. UNUSUALNESS, CREATIVITY, INNOVATION are his weapons, deeply, together with “THE RAPID CHANGES” in our understanding of reality, have to achieve that, the individual human being attains a state of openness and develops a spirit of COLLECTIVISM for the common good. Likewise, the truth of a given fact to which we are forced in the form of rapid and sudden changes, URANUS will also point out in the form of REBELLION, REFORM and REVOLUTION… and for how long we are able to systematically solve “THE ESSENCE” of a given fact, to where only the path of innovation leads us, while beyond everything above, literally liberate ourselves. His message and language are the codes, that govern the course of evolution, the dynamics and the law of the functioning of a variety mechanisms, that include SCIENCE, METAPHYSICS and virtually all “-OLOGIES”, including astrology. 

   URANUS passes through one zodiac sign for about 7 years and orbitally around the Sun for lasts 84 years. For this reason, we divide its impact into 4 critical points:

OURANOS – The one, who was born without a father!

   ...GAIA begot intuition as a reminder on… “GRANDMOTHER”, from tribe of old deities and gods…Our ancestors, who were here the first, as “SPIRITUAL” beings on THE EARTH discovered by their own instinctive form of INTUITION – THE GODS - ...or “AN INTUITION” created “THE GODS” in their own image?! These deities became “A REALITY” based on experiences, that time concentrate in them… They first grew into monsters and TITANS, hundred-handed GIANTS that threatened humanity with destruction and FEAR, from their own created terrifying images… which daily carried in their souls, until they consume them, beat them and made them slaves of their own IMAGINATION.

   Through MOTHER OF THE EARTH GAIA – he arose… OURANOS and then SKY URANUS covered her as a stallion cover a mare. 6 MALE and 6 FEMALE been spawned… to become “THE SECOND ORDER OF DIVINE BEINGS...” And the youngest son KRONOS, led by GAIA herself later questioned domination of this mighty deity. With legendary “SCYTHE” (Whose great curved blade had been forged from “ADAMANTINE” - means - “UNTAMEABLE” - castrated him!

OURANOS had been the ruler of CREATION after ALL! No matter how cruel, rapacious and destructive he was, for his son to have mutilated and emasculated him constituted a MOST TERRIBLE CRIME AGAINST COSMOS… Perhaps what’s happened next is not surprising!

   ...His genitals thrown into the sea gave birth “FROM FOAM BORN” APHRODITE(VENUS)… From that blood which fell from the ruined groin of OURANOS, living beings emerged… The first to push themselves out of the sodden ground were the ERINYES, whom we call THE FURIES – ALECTO(remorseless), MEGAERA(jealous rage) and TISIPHONE(vengeance). Finally in that instant of pain and destruction were created also THE MELIAE – graceful nymphs who were to become guardians of an ash tree, whose bark excluded a sweet and healthful “MANNA”( The sugars of the “MANNA ASH” which still grows in southern Europe). Thus “love” and “hate” came into the world.

URANUS – The one, who burdened the Earth by heaven – THE CREATOR.

   ...No traces of worship or cult were found, only HESOIDOS( About 700 years B.C.) in his “THEOGONY” has preserve URANUS biography. In Nordic mythology there is a parallel in the GREAT – GRAND – GIANT named “YMI”, who was killed by ODIN(SATURN).
